A smooth stone in the garden, with fresh grass pushing up from beneath it. A softly rounded crown of blush sinamay, with hand-rolled sinamay leaves and fine feathers rising around its edge.
Every leaf is cut, rolled and shaped by hand, then sewn on with invisible stitches in my studio in Bowral. Around 8 hours of work go into this hat. A sister piece to Whispering Fern, reimagined in blush.
Who it suits: The rounded line softens stronger, more angular features, and the blush tone is especially lovely with fair or light hair. Darker hair? Send me a photo through Find your hat and I’ll suggest the right shade.
Wear it with: navy, soft grey, ivory or sage. Worn on the right side, tilted forward over the right brow.
