Most MICHAETT occasion hats and fascinators are designed to fit comfortably without requiring a head measurement. These pieces are secured using a millinery elastic, comb, headband or other professional millinery fittings, depending on the design.

For styles that require an individual fit, we will ask you to provide your head measurement when placing your order.

How to Measure Your Head

Using a soft measuring tape, measure the circumference of your head by placing the tape:

• across the centre of your forehead;
• just above your ears; and
• around the fullest part of the back of your head.

The tape should sit comfortably against your head without being pulled too tightly.

If you do not have a soft measuring tape, you can use a piece of string and then measure it against a ruler.
