RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
At MICHAETT, all items are handmade to order (bespoke), reflecting our dedication to craftsmanship and customization. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds unless the item is faulty or does not match its description as required under Australian Consumer Law.
1. Exclusions from Returns
• As all products are made to order, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
• We encourage you to review the product details carefully before placing an order. If you have questions, please contact us at michaela@michaett.com for assistance.
2. Faulty or Misrepresented Products
• If your item is faulty, damaged, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
• To report an issue, contact Customer Service at michaela@michaett.com within 14 business days of receiving your order. Please include your order reference and details of the issue, along with photos if applicable.
3. Procedure for Faulty Product Returns
• Once we confirm the issue, we will provide a return authorisation number and instructions.
• Items must be returned with their original packaging and any tags intact.
4. Shipping Costs for Returns
• For faulty or misrepresented items, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
5. Processing Time
• Upon receiving the returned product, our Quality Department will assess it. If it meets the criteria for a refund or replacement, we will process this within 3-5 business days.
6. Cancellations
• Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement by contacting Customer Service at michaela@michaett.com. Beyond this timeframe, cancellations may not be possible due to the bespoke nature of our work.
