Golden pillbox
This pillbox hat I make from fine parasisal straw in striking gold colour. I love working with parasisal because it is very light and smooth, and it shapes so beautifully. At the back I arrange matching golden feathers so they open like small sun, neat but playful. When you turn your head they catch the light and move a little, which I find very pretty.
It is a beautiful hat that works with many face shapes and hairstyles. I think it is nice for a party, wedding or formal occasion — it adds just enough sparkle without being too much.
